Eco Finish
Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish.
This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.
Ergoshape
These ergonomic shoulder straps ensure optimum freedom of movement and extra comfort for your next mountain, trekking or hiking tour. Ergoshape shoulder straps are designed to be wider where they rest on your shoulders and narrower at the front and under your arms. Ergoshape shoulder straps are specifically adapted to the different needs of women and men.
PET Recycling
Recycled PET: high quality polyester made from recycled PET bottles.
Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

My Climate
Climate-neutral product. The emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping are analyzed and systematically reduced. Emissions that are currently unavoidable are fully offset through myclimate.

The breathable Vent-Tex Ultralight suspension system is so flexible that it adapts to any position on your bike. Mass Balance
Mass Balance Recycling – chemical recycling process. Recycled polyamide that makes use of a certified mass balance process in which pyrolysis oil is extracted from used tires and fed into a conventional polyamide production process. This chemical recycling methods conserves fossil raw resources. Another advantage: compared to conventional polyamide production, 60% less CO2 emissions are produced*. The polyamide obtained in this eco-friendly process has just the same properties as conventional polyamide made from crude oil.

VAUDE UPHILL 16

The mountains are calling! Whether your tour includes biking or hiking – the VAUDE Uphill 16 backpack weighing in at just 420 grams will serve you well on your next trip to the mountains. With minimalist features, the VAUDE Uphill 16 is nevertheless comfortable. The main compartment with an asymmetrical opening offers a volume of 16 litres. a flat, stretchy mesh pocket and a zip-side pocket provide access to your phone or snacks without having to take off the pack.

 

The front lacing scores with triple functionality: storage for a wind or rain jacket when the main compartment is full, compression for smaller loads and attachment for trekking poles. Reflective elements integrated into the design, a hydration system port and an integrated rain cover round out the features of this multi-talent. Featuring our Aeroflex suspension system with 3d mesh on the back, this backpack is air permeable and provides superior ventilation, ensuring that you stay cool and dry during even the most strenuous of hikes. The VAUDE ErgoShape shoulder straps also provide optimal freedom of movement, allowing you to hike or bike with ease and comfort.

  • Made with eco-friendly, water-repellent Eco Finish and is manufactured without the use of environmentally-harmful fluorocarbons (PFC).
  • The siliconized main material was made using a certified mass balance process to recycle end-of-life tires. Reducing the CO2 emissions by up to 60%.
  • This product is climate neutral. We’ve analyzed and reduced all emissions arising from materials, manufacturing, and shipping. Emissions that are currently unavoidable were fully offset by the independent non-profit organization.
