Benoit is a traveller, adventurer, teacher and filmmaker from Quebec. Recently, he has become more known for producing high quality travel videos on YouTube. Before becoming a travel filmmaker, he spent 10 years in the Canadian Army, as part of the primary reserve. Today, he still works part time as an Artillery Sergent.
He started rock climbing right after high-school. This sport quickly became a passion. Throughout the years, Benoit mastered this discipline and he expended his passion around alpine and technical ice climbing.
In 2017, he successfully climbed the iconic 1000 meter granite wall of El Capitan, via “The Nose” (in Yosemite). During that ascent, he and his partner spent two nights on the wall. Fun fact, it was his fist big wall climbing experience.
Benoit had the opportunity to live and work abroad for different jobs in the tourism industry. Among the destinations, some time in Tanzania, Reunion Island and Tunisia. During his time in Eastern Africa, he climbed the highest mountain of the continent: Mount Kilimanjaro (5895m).
Today, Benoit runs his successful business around filmmaking while traveling around the world. He also finds the time to teach tourism at a private college, near his home in Trois-Rivieres.
